Petanux GmbH provides fully autonomous intelligent solutions and supports various industries from healthcare, industry 4.0, manufacturing, and agriculture, to autonomous vehicles in reaching out to new audiences and engaging them in their modern digital and autonomous services. Petanux has been funded in 2017 in Bonn, Germany. As a young SME in the field of AI, Petanux made a great contribution to industrial AI and has supported many industries in automating and developing intelligent systems and solutions. Our mission is to support industries in the efficient integration of modern and next-generation AI in applications. Petanux has been founded by scientific entrepreneurs, who understand very well current challenges in industries. We have various departments of research and innovation, marketing and products as well as education and training.

In the frame of various European and German-funded research projects as well as partnerships with universities and funding agencies, we have multiple jobs and fellowship openings in applied artificial intelligence, mainly in the field of smart healthcare systems and services. In this regard, we expect applications from experienced researchers, who have not received their Ph.D. degree for more than four years ago. All positions and fellowships are applied AI research in the field of healthcare with great potential to be commercialized later. The positions are in collaboration with German Universities. The positions and fellowships are full-time. The application process is open to scientists from all over the world. The official employment language is English and no knowledge of German is required. The total annual gross salary for job openings is expected to be at least 51,000 EUR for the first year of employment depending on your experience. The fellowships are expected to be at least 31,200 EUR over a year for 3 years.

Your Profile:

You are expected to fulfill the following requirements:

  • Having a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or relevant subjects
  • Very good knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken
  • The knowledge of the German language is an advantage
  • Having strong knowledge of research and scientific works
  • Having strong expertise in Artificial Intelligence and Data science
  • Having strong Python Programming Skills
  • Very good at writing reports and delivering on-time results Being a fast learner of new topics and technologies
  • Having publications in well-known AI conferences such as ICML, IJCAI, IEEE ICDM, AAAI, CVPR is an important decision factor

  • A copy of your Ph.D. transcripts
