About us

Petanux was founded in 2017 in Bonn, Germany and, as a young Artificial Intelligence company, Petanux has made a big step toward industrial AI. Petanux supports many industries in automating and developing their intelligent systems. Focusing on the large gap between science and industry, Petanux aims to support the industrialization of scientific results and serves as an interface between science and industry.

We are currently looking for various Ph.D. candidates in AI for Healthcare for the next possible date (ideally 01.09.22). The working hours are 40 hours per week and can be less depending on your wish and qualifications.

Your Profile:

Your Tasks:

  • A master’s degree in computer science or relevant discipline with the main focus on Artificial Intelligence
  • Very good knowledge of English languages, both written and spoken. The German knowledge is not required but is an advantage.
  • Having good knowledge of research and scientific works
  • Experience in Python programming, Deep Learning, and associated Tools and Frameworks
  • Very good knowledge of Computer Vision
  • Working in funded research and education projects in Artificial Intelligence and other relevant disciplines
  • Support in the education and training tasks and learning materials preparation in the field of Artificial Intelligence and relevant fields of computer science
  • Reporting and delivering the project results
  • Python Programming in the context of funded projects
  • The main focus of your Ph.D. and research work will be in the computer vision field towards autonomous skin cancer detection.
